I am an IT and business writer since 2006, after an 18-year career in information technology. I write mainly about technology, which I love (oh and the latest gadgets!) but I am not averse to other topics of interest, like what's in the news and what is going on in the world. I am also a rugby league fan of Cas Tigers since I was 6 when my dad first took me. I don't always get time to watch them but although I live in leeds they will never get me to follow the Leeds Rhinos! I am father to four children, one girl (Emma) and three boys (Jonathan, Nathan and Ben). The youngest is 17 now (Nathan), so finally getting there with that! In the past I have provided articles for the "Yorkshire Recruitment Magazine," and sites such as internetphenomenon.co.uk and numerous other sites. I am educated to honors degree level BSc (Hons), gained at Leeds Metropolitan University. Currently, I write for this site, eHow and others occasionally. I enjoy writing, but if I am being honest I enjoy programming more! Therefore, I do a bit of both when I can for various freelance sites. Writing gives me the chance to share my technology interests and pass on my knowledge.
