There are some people who seem to think, that positive thinking is useless. Positive thinking is not about having happy thoughts and doing nothing. Positive thinking is a combination of positive mental attitude, and an action orientated life. To lead a positive thinking life will take some determination, and you being patient with yourself. The positive thinking techniques below will help you, to change your mental attitude and change your life around for the better.
1: 
Focus your mind. We may not be able to control everything that happens in our life, but we can control our minds. With a little bit of effort, you can focus your mind to get rid of the things you don’t want in your life. When you focus your mind, it’s much easier to bring about positive change into your life.
2: 
Set Goals. If you feel your life is stuck in a rut, you should list all those parts of your life you would like to change. Having a set of realistic goals, will help to keep your mind, on what you want to achieve in life and give you a positive view of life.
3: 
Believe in yourself. It’s very easy to lose all faith in yourself, when you don’t achieve your dreams in life. But the key is to keep going and learn from your mistakes. Build up your self confidence and believe in your ability, to overcome any difficult situations in your life.
4: 
Be happy and grateful. Learn to be grateful with what you have, and be happy with you. The more happy thoughts and moments you have in your life, the more you will attract happy vibes around you. Also, listening to happy music will keep you in a positive state.
5: 
Avoid negative people. Try and keep away from negative people or their influences as much as possible, even if they are from friends or family. By doing this, their negativity will not rub off on you. Hang around positive people more, and their positive energy will influence your life in a good way.

Don’t worry. If things don’t go to plan or bad things happen, don’t worry. By having this attitude, you will come to believe, that everything is going to be alright.

If you consistently use positive thinking techniques in your life, you will find it easier to handle challenges in your life. Also, your attitude will change and you will be motivated to do more in life.

There will always be people, who will be little your positive outlook on life. Don’t let their attitude get you down, just keep persevering.
Don’t go over the top with positive thinking. Make sure you learn from the negative things, that happened to you in the past and the mistakes you’ve made.
