How to treat dry winter skin

Your rating: None
The cold harsh weather can make your skin feel tight, dry and itchy. However there are tricks you can do to make your skin softer and smoother during the winter months.
What you'll need:
Shower cream
Vitamin E oil
Body butter
Throw out all your soaps, because they dry out the skin and strip it of its natural oils. Instead use a shower cream which will cleanse your skin but still leave it soft and supple.
Minimise the amount of hot baths you take, since the hot water can leave your skin feeling tight. Instead use warm water.
Add in a few drops of Vitamin E oil into your bath. This will soften your skin as you take a bath leaving it moisturised when you have finished!
Always use a moisturiser after taking a shower or bath and apply when your skin is damp. The water will help lock in the moisture into your skin.
Twice a week using a loofah and shower cream exfoliate your body. This will remove all the dead skin cells making your moisturiser more effective.
Apply a body butter after exfoliating, as it is heavy and will quench dry skin.
The above are easy to implement into your skincare routine and will relieve you of any winter skin!
