How to make a driftwood wreath

Your rating: None
This guide will show you how to make a driftwood wreath, perfect for your beach house or for your nautically styled house this Christmas, or indeed, anytime of the year!
What you'll need:
Driftwood
Nails
Gluegun
1:
The first step is to go and collect some driftwood from your local beach. Size doesn't matter too much as it can be trimmed later.
2:
Gluing the wood together will give it a nicer look, but some pieces might need a stronger bond and some small nails or pins will do the job very well.
3:
Arrange your wood into a circle and start to fix the pieces together.
4:
You will want to make the wreath at least 30cm in diameter, as this will be a good size to put up on your door.
5:
Once you have got the circular shape keep adding the wood until you have created the desired effect. You can decorate your driftwood wreath with ribbon, shells, holly or anything else you have found on the beach or shore depending upon the finished look you are after.
6:
Have fun!
Conclusion:
This will make a nice Christmas driftwood wreath.
Tips:
You can make the wreath any shape you like, such as a heart or star.
Warnings:
Be careful with a hot glue gun.
Watch the tide when collecting driftwood.
