How to register to vote online

If you are a eligible to vote in the UK, but are not currently on the electoral register, you can register online.
What you'll need: 
A computer with internet access
A printer attached to your computer
Your postcode
A pen
1: 
It is surprisingly eay to register to vote online. Go to the website www.aboutmyvote.co.uk and select the tab 'Register to vote'. The link is shown at the bottom of this article.
2: 
Next select the option that best describes you and your situation.
3: 
Input your postcode and ensure the address is correct. Then select continue.
4: 
If you have a previous address that you may be registered at, include it here. Click continue.
5: 
The 'About You' section asks for your name and date of birth. Click continue when completed.
6: 
The next page displays the data you have input. Check the details are correct and make any necessary ammendments before continuing.
7: 
You can now print off the form, sign it and send it off to the address shown. It really is that simple!
Conclusion: 
You will now be able to vote in the next local and national elections!
Tips: 
Don't wait until the next election before you register
