How to make a perfect zesty garnish for cocktails

Your rating: None Average: 5 (1 vote)
Many cocktails call for an orange or lemon zest garnish, but how do you make one that looks nice?
What you'll need:
Take the citrus fruit and cut a piece of zest around 10cm long, or as long as you can (it should be around 1cm thick).
Curl the zest around the pencil/straw to make it into a spiral. Hold for a couple of seconds and it should keep a spiral shape.
Remove the pencil/straw and add the zest to the drink, or balance on the side of the glass depending on what you think looks best.
