Your rating: None
If, like me, you love the delicious, refreshing taste of a mojito and wish you could justify drinking it every day, try this easy non-alcoholic recipe.
What you'll need:
A Glass (as big as you like!)
Jug & Spoon
Pestle & Mortar
Tea Towel
Hammer / Steak Hammer / Wooden Spoon.
Mint Leaves
Ice Cubes
Tablespoon of Sugar
200ml - 300ml 7up / Sprite (if you want to use lemonade just add half a lime to it).
Lime slice
1:
Using the pestle and mortar, gently grind up between 5-10 mint leaves and place in the glass.
2:
Place the ice cubes in the tea towel and fold over. Using a hammer or spoon, crush the ice cubes and put them in the glass (about two thirds of the way).
3:
Pour the 7up or Sprite into the jug (about 200ml - 300ml depending on the size of the glass). If using lemonade, squeeze in the juice of half a lime.
4:
Cut up about three mint leaves and add to the jug.
5:
Add the sugar to the jug and stir.
6:
Pour the contents of the jug to the glass of mint and ice.
7:
Cut the lime slice once from the middle to the outside and place over the rim of the glass
Conclusion:
Enjoy!
