How to make a lavender satchel

Your rating: None
This is a great sewing project for beginners and makes a lovely gift. You can hang this lavender satchel on a wall as a natural air freshener, or place it in a dresser drawer to keep your clothes smelling fresh.
What you'll need:
dried lavender
fabric of your choice
sewing needle
Cut two identical diamonds out of your fabric. Pin them together with their right sides facing out.
Sew up three sides of your diamonds. Stuff the dried lavender into the satchel through the last open side before sewing that side shut as well.
Fold your ribbon into a small loop, and pin both ends to the top corner of your satchel. Sew the ribbon to the satchel. Now the satchel can hang from the ribbon.
You can make these satchels in any shape you want. Try heart or star shapes for a more challenging project.
