How to make a Gimlet cocktail

The Gimlet is a gin based aperitif. Very simple to make, it has two main ingredients...
What you'll need:
50ml Gin
20ml Lime Cordial
Crushed Ice
Short/Old Fashioned glass
Spoon
Lime wedge
1:
To crush the ice take a plastic food bag. Add the ice and use a rolling pin to smash the ice cubes up (not too much, you don't want snow!).
2:
Add the crushed ice to the glass.
3:
Add the gin and lime cordial and stir for 1-2 minutes (you want a little dilution from the ice).
4:
Garnish with the fresh lime wedge.
Tips:
The lime cordial should be Roses wherever possible to keep with tradition.
Some prefer this cocktail with vodka.
