How To Make A Fleece Scarf

Your rating: None
A fleece scarf is a really simple item to make for winter. No sewing is required for this scarf and they make great Christmas presents. Fleece comes in so many colours and designs which mean you can easily match a scarf to go with your favourite coat. Fleece can easily be brought from a fabric shop or online stores.
What you'll need:
2 yards of fleece
Measuring tape
Masking tape
Measure out 9 inch wide by 54 inches long from the fleece and cut it out with the scissors. Trim of ends of fleece to neaten if needed.
Measure 4 inches from the bottom of the scarf from each end. Mark the measured line with the masking tape across the width of the fleece.
Cut ½ inch wide strips along the bottom edge right up to the tape. Repeat this on the other end of the fleece.
You can wrap your fleece scarf round your neck.
You can now see that making a fleece scarf without sewing takes no time at all. This means you can easily make several scarves for presents. The scarf can be made longer if you wish.
You can cut the fleece shorter for a child.
