How To make Chocolate Orange Truffles

Your rating: None
Easy to make, with a lovely orange flavour, these truffles will please everybody, especially the children, they would also make an home-made alternative Easter treat. Makes 20 truffles.
What you'll need:
1 large orange, juiced and zested
200g (7oz) milk chocolate
100ml (3 1/2 fl oz) double cream
icing sugar, to coat
Put the orange juice and zest in a small pan and simmer until the liquid has reduced to about 1 teaspoon.
Put the chocolate and cream in a bowl and set over a pan of simmering hot water (make sure the bottom of the bowl doesn't touch the hot water). Stir in the orange liquid. Pour into a container that will give the mixture a depth of 2cm, and leave to cool completely.
Once cooled, put the container in the fridge to chill for 2-3 hours, until the mixture is firm enough to shape into round balls.
Use a teaspoon to scoop out the mixture and form balls. Roll each truffle in icing sugar to dust.
Eat immediately, or place them in a gift box for someone special.
