How to find your local MP

If you want to find out more about your local Member of Parliament, or get in touch with them, this is quite straight forward.
What you'll need: 
A computer with internet access or
A telephone
Your postcode
1: 
On the computer go to the MPs section on the www.parliament.uk website (see link below). Or call 020 7219 4272 which is the telephone number of the House of Commons information office.
2: 
The website will require you to type in your postcode and enter. The name of your MP, their contact details and website will be shown.
3: 
If you are calling you will need to request that you wish to know your MP, give your postcode and you will be given your MPs name and contact details.
Conclusion: 
It is easy to find your MP and their contact details. You can write to them either by letter or email about an issue that is concerning you, or to ask a question.
