How to delete your internet history on IE8
So your internet experience has started to go slow and all those websites you visited months ago are still coming up in your toolbar? Follow the following steps for a quick and easy way to clean up your internet browser.
What you'll need:
Windows
IE 8
1:
Open up Windows Internet Explorer
2:
In the top right hand corner, select Internet Options. If this is not showing press the alt key on the keyboard and the menu bar will appear. Select Tools/Internet Options
3:
Under the general tab, under the sub heading Browser history, select the delete button.
4:
Another screen will appear, select the options you want to clean up. Normally I leave this as default.
5:
Select the Delete button.
6:
All done - your internet browser should run a little faster.
Conclusion:
Internet Explorer remembers every page you go to, which is called caching so next time you go to that website, it doesn't have to download everything again.
Tips:
Make sure you have bookmarked any site you want to remember
