How to create a shortcut link to a web page on your desktop

Your rating: None
If you often visit the same web page, here is how to create a link on your desktop that will open the page with a single double-click.
Open the web site you want to link to.
If necessary, go to the exact page or part of the page – for example, sign in to your web-based email account or find the search page you normally use.
With the page open on-screen, open the File menu and select Send - Shortcut to Desktop.
An icon will appear on your Desktop which, when you double-click its name, will open the page every time.
If you find double-clicking hard, click the name once and then press the Enter key.
